Undertaker vs shawn michaels was one of the best matches that has ever been put on some people may disagree but it was truelly an amazing match to watch with two of the best superstar that the company has to offer today.

Ultimate X Match at Bound For Glory.It was one hell of a match.It’d not the best Ultimate X match but it’s up there.I believe that can be match of the year material.

By far Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker at WrestleMania 25. These two put on an amazing match for the fans, and the fans were electric the whole match, i was there live, and it was insane. The match itself was amazing, a lot of kick outs and finishers that just kept going. And for two men at their age to put on a half hour match, it pretty impressive. Shawn Michaels and Taker never fail to deliver at WrestleMania, and this year was no exception. The match had so many crazy moves, including Taker’s over the top rope dive, and shawn’s moonsault which he landed on the floor. And it took like 2 or 3 tombstones to take Shawn out, and shawn even escaped the hell’s gate. These two had everyone at the edge of their seats, and it even had moments where u were sure that HBK would win. The match had also good wrestling, with Taker’s strenght and HBK’s speed and stuff, this match is by far a 5 star match. The entrances were also amazing, Shawn Michaels’ entrance was just incredible. The ending was great, catching Shawn’s moonsault and tombstone piledriving him for the win, that was cool. In overall, this match had everything from high flying, to ground wrestling, it was just awe-inspiring, and to see it live just made the whole experience even better. This match is without a doubt the match of the year for 2009.

I don’t even have to think about this.
The Young Bucks vs Cima and Yokosuka at DGUSA’s "Enter The Dragon".
I’d seen The Young Bucks a few times in ROH and was impressed with them (a modern-day Rock & Roll Express "in my estimation" {blatant ripoff from good ol’ JR}, with today’s lightning-quick daredevil flying moves added). But I hadn’t seen them wrestle a team that could do what they could in the ring.
I’d never heard of Cima and Yokosuka prior to seeing this match so I had no pre-conceived ideas on what to expect from them. What I got just blew me away! It was like watching an old Rock & Roll Express vs Midnight Express match with the speed ramped up to 12 (on a scale of 10) and the high-flying also ramped up to 12. The precision double-team moves and the teamwork from both of these teams were just amazing!
"Enter The Dragon" has been the best PPV this year from ANY promotion, and that match stands out as the best of the show. And Match Of The Year.
Runner-up: Negro Casas defeats Mistico for the CMLL Welterweight Championship in an excellent 2 out of 3 falls match in CMLL in March of this year. It wasn’t just a typical lucha "spot fest", there was a lot of very good wrestling in this match, proving that the traditional luchadors in Mexico CAN wrestle, not just jump and flip all over the ring. It was a heart-breaking loss for the much-loved Mistico, but Casas earned the title that night. He is still the Champ.
